Are you looking for quilting friends or perhaps for free patterns? A while back, some friends and I started a Facebook group called Block of Friends. We host free sew alongs that we call Block Parties and post other things we are working on. It is a relaxed, fun group and I’d love for you to join us!
Our first Block Party was for potato chip quilts. Have you heard of those? They are named that because no one can make just one and that is so true, I’m already thinking about my next one! Gina Tell, another founding member, also makes YouTube videos to go with the sew alongs!
We also had a Christmas Blockc Party where I gave away my Wrap It Up! runner pattern temporarily. That one is now in my shop.
Loads of people made them and we had so much fun! We’re currently having a Valentine Block Party with a free pillow pattern I designed. This one has pompom trim and big stitch quilting accents. I love it!
